The last race of the 2023 Marathon World Cup took place in Snowshoe, USA. Martin Stošek took 6th place in the demanding race, Marc Stutzmann was 7th and Andreas Seewald finished 12th.

In the third race of the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Cup Andreas Seewald takes the bronze medal.In the 100-kilometer race, he was not only able to beat the winning Colombian Leonardo Paez and the second Italian Diego Rosa. Marc Stutzmann finished in 15th position, Stefanie Dohrn did not finish the race and Martin Stošek did not start the race due to illness.

The third race of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup takes place on Saturday, September 16 in Morzine, France. Canyon Northwave MTB Team enters the race in full line-up, starting Martin Stošek, Marc Stutzmann, Stefanie Dohrn and Andreas Seewald.

One of the most successful weeks is behind the Canyon Northwave MTB Team. Martin Stošek together with Marc Stutzmann won the Swiss Epic stage race. On Saturday, August 19, Andreas Seewald and Stefanie Dohrn won the prestigious Swiss Grand Raid marathon.

On Saturday, August 13, Marc Stutzmann won the title of Swiss Marathon Champion. He confirmed his excellent form before the upcoming Swiss Epic stage race, which he will participate in together with Martin Stošek.

World Marathon Championships took place in Glentress Forest, Scotland. The Canyon Northwave MTB Team leaves with a silver medal. It was won by Martin Stošek. Marc Stutzmann also had a great performance, finishing 4th and Andreas Seewald 10th. Stefanie Dohrn finished 19th in the women's race.

Scotland has become the centre of professional cycling since August 3. Glasgow and its surroundings will host the World Championships of all disciplines except cyclo-cross. The marathon race is scheduled for Sunday, August 6. Race will be held in Glentress Forest. The Canyon Northwave MTB Team will have four riders across three nationalities - Martin Stošek from Czech republic, Marc Stutzmann from Switzerland and Andreas Seewald and Stefanie Dohrn from Germany.

Last Saturday belonged to other race in Italy. The 28th edition of the Dolomiti Superbike marathon took place in Villabassa and Martin Stošek scored a great result, taking 3rd place in the 123 km long race.

The Canyon Northwave MTB Team was unlucky at the European Championships. Due to technical problems, one of the favorites, Martin Stošek, did not finish. Marc Stutzmann, who finished in 38th place, also suffered a puncture. Stefanie Dohrn put in a good performance and finished 9th.

The European Marathon Championship is hosted by the southern French town of Laissac. In the jerseys of the Canyon Northwave MTB Team, Martin Stošek, who will be one of the favorites, will start. Marc Stutzmann and Stefanie Dohrn also start. For health reasons, Andreas Seewald, who is ill, has to miss the fight for the blue jersey of the European champion.

Last weekend in the Italian Finale Ligure, Martin Stošek won second place in the World Cup marathon race and climbed to the same place in the overall clasification. Marc Stutzman finished in 10th position, Stefanie Dohrn unfortunately did not finish the race and Andreas Seewald did not start due to illness. On Saturday, the prestigious gravel race Unbound Gravel took place in the United States, where Petr Vakoč, who did not ride for the Canyon Northwave Team jersey for the first time, also started.

Petr Vakoč ended his contract with Canyon Northwave MTB Team after the first race of the World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě. Together with team manager Kristián Hynek, however, they remain in contact and it is possible that Petr will start the Cape Epic in 2024 in the jersey of the Canyon Northwave MTB Team.

The first race of the newly established World Cup in marathon took place on Saturday, May 13 in Nové Město na Moravě. German champion Andreas Seewald took a solid 4th place. Martin Stošek finished in 15th position, Marc Stutzmann was 16th and Stefanie Dohrn, who finished in 5th place, showed a great performance in women category.

A week before the first race of the UCI XCM World Cup, Martin Stošek confirmed his excellent performance. On Saturday, June 6, he won the Capoliveri Legend Cup on Elba and took his first victory of the new season. Fifth place was completed by Andreas Seewald, unlucky was Marc Stutzmann, who finished in 24th position due to technical problems.

The Canyon Northwave MTB Team has completed the first peak of the season - Cape Epic and the subsequent racing holiday. This weekend, however, the riders will be back on the start lines. Martin Stošek and Petr Vakoč will take part in the Czech National XCM Championship, Andreas Seewald and Marc Stutzmann will take part in the legendary Garda Trentiln Marathon.‍

Cape Epic 2023 is a thing of the past. Canyon Northwave MTB Team leaves Africa with mixed feelings about the result, but also hopes for the future and motivated to further work. The duo of Martin Stošek/Andreas Seewald finished in 5th position, Petr Vakoč was 7th with Marc Stutzmann.
